The Villacantal and Fuendebaños apartments are located in the heart of the historic center of one of the Most Beautiful Villages in Spain: the medieval town of Alquézar. Ubicados en edificios con la estética de la arquitectura típica de la zona, han sido rehabilitados y cuentan con las más modernas instalaciones, convirtiéndose en espacios acogedores, luminosos y especialmente bonitos. Here, guests will feel like they’re in their second home. The location of Alquézar in the Pre-Pyrenees, and within the Sierra and Canyons of Guara Natural Park, means that the municipality enjoys a favorable climate 365 days a year, so users can make reservations on any date, both in Villacantal and in Fuendebaños.
New, bright apartments in Alquézar with all kinds of amenities
Access to the VILLACANTAL and FUENDEBAÑOS tourist apartments is convenient and easy. We have enabled a simple app, which allows the customer to check in online. In this way, users of VILLACANTAL and FUENDEBAÑOS have total freedom to enter and leave them.
If you are arriving in Alquézar by car, it’s important to know that there is a gas station just 1 km from the town center, next to the Alquézar Campsite. Also, please note that the Special Protection Plan for the Historic Site of Alquézar stipulates that car access to the town is restricted to residents only. For this reason, there is a large parking area at the entrance to the town, from which a pleasant walk leads directly to the town center.
All our holiday apartments are fully furnished and equipped with heating and air conditioning. They also feature a Smart TV, allowing guests to access their Spotify, Netflix, HBO, and other streaming services—perfect for children to watch their favorite cartoons.
The kitchen is equipped with an induction hob, microwave, refrigerator, cookware, dishes, cutlery, an Italian coffee maker, and everything else needed to make your stay as comfortable as possible. We also provide a complimentary basic cleaning kit, including a scouring pad, dishcloth, dishwasher tablet, and dish soap.
The bedrooms, as well as the sofa bed, have linens and towels.
The bathroom has shower gel and shampoo dispensers, and a hairdryer.
Villacantal Apartments
They owe their name, VILLACANTAL, to a bridge built in the 16th century and located near the apartments. It is, without a doubt, one of the most beautiful bridges in Alquézar.
The apartments are located in the heart of the historic center of the medieval town of Alquézar and just 100 meters from one of the most famous excursions in the area: Las Pasarelas del Vero.
Characteristics
Two of the tourist apartments consist of two bedrooms, each equipped with a 1.50 m double bed. The living room also has a sofa bed, perfect for use by both adults and children. They therefore have a capacity to accommodate up to 6 people.
The other apartment is a one-bedroom duplex with a 1.50m bed, but a sofa bed is also available in the living room. It can accommodate up to 4 people.
Each apartment has a fully equipped bathroom.
They were designed in a newly constructed building (2020), which respected the area’s traditional architecture. Each one has an approximate area of 40 m2, and in addition to their excellent location, they boast fantastic natural light and ventilation.
The apartments have been decorated to provide guests with a cozy and modern space, with a predominance of neutral colors, whites and wood; the furniture is Nordic style, but maintaining a rustic essence.
Fuendebaños Apartments
They owe their name, FUENDEBAÑOS, to another of the medieval bridges that cross the Vero River, in the municipality of Alquezar.
These four apartments are located very close to the Villacantal Apartments, right in the center of Alquézar. This location is an excellent starting point for exploring every corner of the Sierra and Cañones de Guara Natural Park, visiting the wineries of the Somontano Designation of Origin, admiring the rock art in the Río Vero Cultural Park, discovering the Torreciudad Sanctuary, shopping in Barbastro, the regional capital, or exploring the Aragonese Pyrenees.
Characteristics
These four apartments are located in a completely renovated building. The work was completed in 2022, and the renovation respected and enhanced the beautiful rural architecture of the area.
Their orientation makes them especially bright.
Each apartment consists of a living room, kitchen, bedroom with a 1.50 m double bed, and a fully equipped bathroom. In addition, a sofa bed has been placed in the living room, allowing accommodation for up to 4 people.
The Fuendebaños apartments have been decorated in the same style as the Villacantal apartments, with the shared goal of providing guests with a welcoming and modern space, predominantly featuring neutral colors, white, and wood. The Nordic-style furniture maintains a rustic charm.
